Evie's first trip to Southern California (Part 3 of 3)

Part three of our trip to SoCal.  The final saga! :)

I had two objectives for family fun that I really wanted to complete on this trip- Going to the Beach and Downtown Disney and eating at the Rainforest Cafe.  We accomplished both of them and they couldn't have gone any better.  Our family had so much fun and it was the start of doing things with the four of us.  I just loved it!

Here we are at the beach near Newport.  It was a beautiful day.
Evan and Jim had a blast running in the water.

My men!
Evie and I just watched, that was fine with us girls.
On Sunday evening, we got a chance to go to Downtown Disney.  We had perfect parking and again the weather was just right.  When we first got there we put our name in at Rainforest Cafe and decided to join their membership club, as it shortened your wait time by half and only cost $10, plus it never expires.  We probably would have paid even more, but the sale price of $10 was fabulous.  We only had to wait a half hour to be seated instead of the initial hour projection.  To kill time we walked around Downtown Disney.  It was perfect and something we had wanted to do anyways.  Here are the boys looking at the fountain.  Evan loved all of the water features, music, people, and excitement that was going around at the center.
We walked all the way to the Disney Store and even had a chance to check out the Lightening McQueen gear.  Fun times!

Our walk back provided perfect timing to then return to the Rainforest Cafe and immediately be seated.  Here we are at our table.  We got sat right next to the aquarium.  It was fabulous!
Me and Evie, she did amazing throughout the whole dinner and even fell asleep at the very end.
Evan and Daddy, in this picture he is just noticing the monkeys and is making the monkey noise.  Adorable!
Here he is with his eyes on the Elephants behind us.  He wasn't too sure about them, especially when they moved and made noise.

Evan really liked the restaurant overall; however, when the show began for the first time this is what he did.  He didn't look up even once.  Hilarious!  Poor guy, Daddy was there to protect him.

I can't wait to go back again to the Rainforest Cafe, especially once Evie gets bigger to see her reaction.

More family fun awaits and I couldn't be happier.  Looking forward to several family trips in the future.  This first one with all four of us was amazing!  Go team Knight!
