Safety Day

We were able to go to Safety Day at the Mall again this year on Saturday, May 19 and had the best time.  Especially Evan, he got to do two obstacle courses.  One that involved him using a real life fire hose...
and another where he was able to run this really neat exercise course that helps train Police Officers.

Evie was able to get into the fun too!  Here she is waiting for the fire obstacle course to start.  So serious- but adorable in her hat and glasses!

Soccer Fun

Evan was invited to his buddy Andrew's 4th birthday party on Sunday, May 20th where they got to get a lesson from Andrew's soccer coach for a whole hour.  Evan was so excited and loved it!  Here are the boys getting into the action.  Jim and I felt proud too when the coach told us that Evan was a natural- that's our boy! :)

Here's the coach giving the kids some instructions.
Pictured in this shot are Evan and the Birthday boy Andrew.
Here are a few more action pictures Daddy got of Evan.
Everyone was having so much fun at the party.  Thank you Rhodes Family!
This was the super cool cake that Andrew's parents created for him.  Andrew's dad, Travis photo shopped all the kids in attendance's heads on to actual soccer players bodies.  Can you find Evie and Evan?  So cute and creative!
It was a wonderful afternoon and a perfect celebration of our little friend Andrew- Happy Birthday Andrew!

Preschool Preview Day

On Wednesday, May 23 Evan got to have a Preschool Preview Day at his future Preschool with Miss. Netty.  Here they are together when I dropped him off.  He had been a little anxious about attending preschool, but the week leading up to his preview day he got so excited!  The morning of he couldn't wait to go to SCHOOL!  Here he is all ready before we left.
We can't forget Evie too, she was also excited.  She really wanted to go as well, but Mommy told her that we got to have special girl time.  She thought this sounded good for the most part and went along with the plan. :)
The whole experience for everyone was perfect.  When we got their Evan told me he would probably be a little shy at first, which he was for about a minute and then he started to warm up and play with his buddy, Ewan, who was also having his preview day too.  Evan did amazing and Mommy and Evie left without him even looking back because he was already having the best time.  When we came to pick him up he told us about all the fun he had and showed us his paintings of a storm that he had made.  He told Evie that he missed her and was wondering if she missed him too. Which she did, but of course didn't want to admit when he asked.  Silly girl!  Mommy and Evie were able to go to the grocery store and run another errand while Evan was at school.  It was awesome!  I look forward, but yet am a little sad at this new stage Evan will be entering into as I know it is going to be amazing for him to grow and learn, but me and the girls will miss our little handsome guy.  Just like today, I couldn't wait to pick him up when it was over and hear how it all went.

Elmo Shirts

Kid's being silly in their Elmo shirts from Aunt Alison and Grandma Knight.  Thank you guys!  Love you!

Mother's Day

I had a lovely Mother's Day and felt celebrated and very loved on by my family.  Here I am pictured with all three of my babies on the special day, May 13. :)
I also got to celebrate with my Mom and Grandma in the evening.  We had a special dinner ordered in from B.J.'s it was delicious and the kids had a blast not being confined in a restaurant.
Hope you all had wonderful Mother's Day Celebrations too!

Beginning of Summer Fun

The kids have been having lots of fun as the weather has been heating up.  Here they are with their new Old Navy flip flops on April 22.  This is Evie's first official pair.  She enjoys wearing them, but with most shoes these days they come off pretty quickly.  She enjoys having no shoes on best.  However, we tell her she needs to ask us before taking them off.  This works most of the time. Evan calls his flip flops "rocket flip flops."  As they help him to run super fast!

On April 29 the kids got to have fun with water at our friend's the Rhodes house.  They were both excited to put on their new swim suits too.  Pictured below are Hannah, Andrew and Evie.
Here is the whole crew enjoying the fun!  Thanks Rhodes for a wonderful evening!
We were recently blessed to receive this wonderful bike trailer from our amazing friends the Waltons.  The kids love it, especially Evie who is pictured below riding in the trailer.  Here we all are on May 5 testing it out.
Evan can ride in it too, but he chose to ride his bike as he continues to want to ride with no training wheels.
Here is Daddy ready to ride.  His bike was excited to get on the rode again too, we haven't all been bike riding in some time.  Mommy of course had to wait and walked along side, but once baby is born we look forward to many more future family bike trips.
On May 12 we attended the Roseville, Berry Festival.  Here are the kids and Daddy after they bounced away in this cool train/Thomas Bounce House.  They loved it!
They also all got to go on this Race Car/Train Ride around the Festival.  They were super excited!
Here is our little sweetie in her shades.  So cool!
Off they go!
We all had fun at the Berry Festival and got some delicious strawberries, but it was super hot this day and choose to only be there a couple of hours.  We didn't feel too bad though, because we attended using a Groupon and got in two for one and kids were free!

Baby Girl in 3D

We got to see our new little angel in 3D on Sunday, April 15.  We used Baby Connection again.  We continue to love their services.  It was awesome and as soon as we saw her, we said that is so our baby.  It is amazing how all three kiddos have looked similar.  God is SO GOOD!  This was a special ultrasound because the kids got to see her too.  I don't know if they totally understood everything, but enjoyed it nonetheless and we have the memories.

This is our favorite picture of our little girl smiling.  It was really neat to get this picture, because with both Evan and Evie we got decent pictures but no actual smiles.
Our little sweetie kept wanting to put her hands in front of her face, so the ultrasound technician and I had to work to get her to move them a bit so we could look at her little face.  You can see her fighting the urge to bring them back up in this picture.
You can really see them in this 2D picture too; her little hands right on top of her face.
Here is another picture we got of our newest daughter...we love her so much already and can't wait to lay eyes on her outside of the womb.
For fun here are both Evan and Evie's 3D Ultrasounds too.  See if you can see the similarities.  Jim and I can't help but see them in each of the kids.

Here is Evan.  He wasn't working us that day, but we did get a little glimpse of his face.  He kept wanting to turn over completely.
Here is Evie.  She was much better and keeping her head forward, but did have the urge to put those hands and feet in front of her face too.

Baby Girl #3 Update

So it has been awhile since I have written about our newest addition due in July.  Life has been keeping us crazy busy, the funny thing is that we don't even have three kiddos yet.  Gotta love it!  Good thing our Heavenly Father only gives us what we can handle. :)

All in all this preganancy is going very good.  It has been real similar to my two others.  Except for maybe that I am a little more tired (probably just because I don't have many naps since my kids aren't consistent nappers either).  I just try to get a little shut eye when they are watching a show in the afternoon for a few minutes if possible.  We feel so blessed and thankful for our little girl that will be joining us very soon.

Here is a re-cap of her growth in my tummy since the last time I blogged about our daughter.

Here I am on March 24, 2012 at 24 weeks, one day before 25 weeks.
Here I technically am at 25 weeks on March 31.
Here I am with proud Big Brother, Evan on April 18 at 28 weeks.
We of course can't forget proud Big Sister, Evie.  Here we are on April 22 at 29 weeks.
Then finally at 30 weeks on May 5.  The doctors say we are on target and doing well.  She has a strong heart beat and is growing great!
Can't wait to meet her in just a few short weeks.  Now off to try to accomplish a few more of the long to -do-list before her arrival. :)

Dying Eggs

We actually dyed our Easter Eggs this year after Easter.  This is one of those activities that we kept trying to get to before Easter took place, but kept running out of time.  So here we are on Tuesday, April 10 dying away.  The kids didn't care and it helped extend our holiday that much more. Here are some pictures of the action. :)
Putting stickers on the eggs...the kids loved this part especially Evie.  She is a huge sticker fan.
Here is the finished product...Beautiful!

Easter Recap

Happy very belated Easter from our family.  We had a beautiful Easter weekend of fun, family, and celebrating our great Savior's Resurrection.  Here we all are right before church.

Here are also some cute pictures of our little princess with her bunny.
My parents visited our church on Easter, so the kids were very excited to see Grandma and Grandpa.
My mom also got this nice picture of Jim and I together too with Baby #3 at 27 weeks.
After church we had a festive lunch at McDonald's.  The kids loved this!  Then we told them that the Easter Bunny had probably visited our house while we were out.  So as soon as we came home the kids were in search of Easter Baskets.  Here they are finding one!
Here is Evie trying to carry Daddy's basket.
Once they found all the baskets we tried to get a simple picture of them in front of them, but instead they started signing and doing a little dance of joy.  Look how coordinated they were in their made up Easter groove. :)
Then it was time to open them up and see what the Easter Bunny had left.  Both kids made out super good and were thrilled with all of their Easter loot.  Of course, Evie's favorite items included the candy! :)  She is our little sweet tooth.
That evening we headed over the my Grandma's for Easter Dinner with the Thompson Family.  It was a fantastic ending to a wonderful and blessed day, that included an amazing dinner, a fun egg hunt for the kiddos, and great fellowship.  Here is a fun picture of the kids with Grandma Shirley and Aunt Debra and Uncle Rhett.
