Evan got his first haircut today at Jack and Jillybeans Salon in Roseville. It was so great. He got to sit in a firetruck, have a little cell phone (A "Cars" cellphone to be exact), and watch Baby Einstein. The other great thing was another little boy was also getting his first haircut at the same time. We had the friendliest stylist named, Miranda. All in all it was a fabulous experience. They even gave Evan a certificate and we received a little envelope with his first locks. This place was recommended by my friend Rachel; thanks Rachel! :)
I think Evan really enjoyed all parts of the experience and found it to even be relaxing. He looks very relaxed in the pictures in my opinion, but who can blame him who doesn't love getting pampered. :)
Here he is at the start, getting his hair watered down.

Then they cut off the first locks.

I love how he is looking at himself in the mirror in this picture.

Doing the top cut.

A little trimming with the clippers, which he got to turn on.

Then getting it evened out in the back.

And the last bit of styling, including some product to help keep down the wispys. :)

Final result with a proud Daddy and Mommy below...such a handsome little boy! We love you Evan! :)

Isn't it funny how we are all wearing stripes, not planned, but fun! :)

Very handsome, little dude! Kim, be glad it went so well. My nephew hates it when anyone touches his head and SCREAMS every time he gets his haircut. Glad to see Evan was relaxed instead of screaming! :)
