40 Weeks and 1 Day

Thought we would give everyone an update. We went to the doctor this morning and it appears dilation has started, but still not very much. At this point we continue to wait and see. The doctor said the baby is continuing to do well and that if he hasn't come out by next Monday that he will most likely induce. However, he said it is not uncommon for first pregnancies to run long and he could come out at any time before than too. At this point it is anyone's guess. Nevertheless, they will induce if we go to 41 weeks. I guess we can all be certain that we will see this little guy sometime next week if not sooner. :) We are of course hoping for the sooner. Maybe we will even get the coveted birthday of 8-8-08! Thanks for all of your encouragement, prayers and support! We will be in touch with more when we have news. Blessings and love!
