On the weekend of October 11 Jim's family came to visit and we were able to go up to Apple Hill that Saturday. We had a wonderful time and despite the normal crowds on the weekends, we really fared pretty well and had the best time.
Our first stop of the day was to Rainbow Orchards we were hoping to get a taste of their acclaimed Apple Donuts. However, it seemed that the rest of the world was hoping for the same thing and the line to get one of these special donuts was all around the building; we opted to wait and try this again another year. Here we are turning away from the line.
However, the kids had fun running along these haystacks they had all set up in different patterns.
Then it was off to Kid's Inc. This place was great and just right for our family with a nice amount of activities, food and not super crowded.
Grandma Knight purchased the kids these adorable little finger puppets when we first got to the farm. They were in love and instantly put them to work.
We got to see animals.
Do a Corn Maze.
Poor Elaine feel face first in some dirt during this activity. Jim and I couldn't resist getting a picture of her face. Priceless!
We also ate some delicious tacos. These were one of this farm's claim's to fame. We had to agree that they were super tasty.
Here we also went on a train and enjoyed the orchard vendors.
We lastly, were able to take a nice fall family picture.
I leave you with another nice picture of me and my handsome hubby at Kid's Inc.
Thankful to live in such a beautiful place with a fantastic place to visit like Apple Hill that I can enjoy with family.
