Seven Months Old

Elaine turned seven months old on Friday, February 8.  Here she is just looking absolutely adorable!

-Elaine's favorite past time to date is running around, yes literally running around the rolling exersaucer.  This girl enjoys being mobile.  The kids love to pretend to chase her or that she is chasing them.  Jim and I have so much fun with this too.  Elaine is still not a huge fan of being on her tummy.  So who knows she may walk before she crawls.
-She is very sturdy sitting up for the most part.  However, will still topple over now and then.  Lately we have been having lots of bonks and frustration in not being able to get what she needs.
-She continues to teeth, her top teeth have decided to come in now too.  Just noticed this on Wed., Feb. 20.  Everything goes in the mouth though.  She must have variety too and gets bored with her toys and wants to move on to something new during playtime.
-She has been eating more food and has tried to date: Oatmeal, Rice Cereal, Sweet Potatoes, Carrots and Squash.  Still not a big eater yet, but has been eating.  Her favorite thing to do is to get control of the spoon and feed herself.
-She sits in the high chair now at restaurants and thinks this is pretty cool.  Here she is at Togos on February 10th her first experience.  This could be a Togo's ad don't you think?!?
-She continues to love her brother and sister and they love her too.  Who wouldn't love these two little sillies! :)
We love you Lainey boo!  You are our sunshine.  Happy seven months baby!  We love you so much!  Finally, I leave you with a cute picture of Elaine in my old outfit.  Just gotta love her!

The first pic is so adorable and the the last one with the big flower in her hair!! Such a sweet little girly girl. I think that excer-run-around-do-hickie thing is AMAZING!!! I noticed in a picture before but didn't realize how it was hooked to that table with the toys on it and that it had wheals that allowed her to run around in circles ... how cool is that?!!! I know they don't have the "walkers" like we used to have (which both my kids loved and Kate almost killed herself in - literally) but these are GREAT substitutes. I think you should get ready ... it sounds like she's going to be off before you know it. No walking for Elaine - running all the way. :)
