Evan had swim lessons for two weeks starting on Tuesday, June 14 through Thursday, June 23. They were semi-private 20 minute lessons that he shared with his buddy Wes from Life Group. They both did so well. We were really proud of Evan. His first two lessons he did cry. However, on day three he said, "I don't need to cry for Mommy any more" and he didn't. We have a little swimmer on our hands now.
Here are some more pictures of his swimming lessons for your enjoyment.
Day one and the sad face...
However, this picture was quickly followed by a face of swimming enjoyment on Day 3.
Supportive sissy, sitting with her big brother after his lesson. She can't wait to have lessons next year too.
Floating Evan was a little apprehensive with the way it made his ears feel, but he hung in there.
Proud Mommy and Daddy with their little swimmer.
Evan in action on Day 7. Look at that form now...
And finally our confident swimmer on the last day of his lessons. Way to go Evan!
Below are all the kids that also had lessons with Miss. Callie. From left to right, Ben, Cameron, Callie, Macy, Evan, Wesley and Zach.
Here is Evan with his teacher Miss. Callie and a little thank you page that we made for her.
Finally, I must say a big thank you to the Scofield Family for letting us invade their home for two weeks and use their pool for the swim lessons and to my friend Carly for telling us about Miss. Callie and sharing her with all of us for swim lessons. What a wonderful experience. :)
