Grandma Knight and Aunt Alison Visit

We had a fabulous visit with Grandma Knight and Aunt Alison this past weekend. The weather wasn't totally cooperating as it was pretty much cold and wet during their visit, but we made the most of our time together and had a lot of fun.

On Saturday we went to Old Sacramento, where we got to look at choo-choos (as Evan would say). :) Evan was loving it and couldn't get enough. Here is a picture of Evan and Jim in front of one of the trains.

We decided to visit the Railroad Museum too, since it was so cold outside. It was a nice place to look around without being in the wind. Evan went there last summer, but this trip was different because he really got excited about all the big trains being so close to him and loved exploring the museum. Here we all are at the museum. There is a train behind us, really!?!

This is the gang checking out some of the exhibits.

Here is a cute pic of Grandma Knight and Aunt Alison in the dinning train waving at me and Evie.

After our fun day in Old Sacramento, we came back home and Evan took his nap (which was very short that day). He then got the fun surprise of opening up some gifts from Grandma Knight and Aunt Alison. Evan loves opening presents. He was too interested in getting that package open than to smile for the camera below.

After the gift opening Evan and Aunt Alison decided to put the package boxes on their heads as hats. Evan loved this game. :)

On Sunday we went to the mall since it was raining and the kids both had a melt down; thus no real great pictures to share from this event.

Lastly, here are some fun random pictures of the kids with Grandma Knight and Aunt Alison.

I love Evan's face below. So silly!

This picture is a classic too...Evan looking at Aunt Alison to see what she is doing. Love it!

We love you Grandma Knight and Aunt Alison can't wait to see you again real soon!
