NorCal Baby Shower hosted by Mom and Grandma

On Saturday, June 28, my Mom and Grandma hosted a fabulous baby shower for me and our little guy at my Grandma's house in Northern California. It was so much fun and such a treat to be able to see family and friends from the area.

We played lots of fun games, all organized by my mom, "The Game Wizard!" :) Below are some pictures of the action. You will see Kim, Carol, Alison and Debra trying to come up with something related to babies for all 26 letters of the alphabet. Our winner on this game was super star Stephanie, pictured down below in another shot. Way to go Stephanie! :)

This next picture is a little taste of "Stick the pacifier on the baby." My mom gave Jana a good twirl and then directed her to the wall.

The following game, had the group doing charades. Here Tammy is acting out changing a stinky diaper. She was awesome! However, the winner was Jeri, who did a phenomenal impression of delivering a baby. In this picture from left to right is Alison, Debra, Elizabeth, Tammy, me and Deb.

Pictured below are my good friends Natalie and Carrie, looking beautiful!

This picture features more fabulous friends, Jennifer and her daughter Brittney, Stephanie and me.

After all the games we got the chance to eat some delicious cake (vanilla and strawberries). I was able to do the honors and cut the pieces for the guests.

Then it was present time, our family was blessed with so much love and generosity. Below is a picture of the gorgeous and adorable quilt Kimberly made for our little boy! Thank you so much- what a treasure! You can click here to see more pictures of the festivities.

However, here are a few more highlights. At the party was our youngest guest, new baby Mabel, Elizabeth's daughter. She did a great job and it was so fun to see her in person.

Also, in attendance at the shower were the very special, soon-to-be Aunts, Jim's sister, Alison and my brother's new wife, Debra!

We also got to visit with GrandDeb and Pops Knight. Deb made this adorable baby sock bouquet. It was just the cutest thing and will be so much fun to have in the babies room!

Thank you again family and friends for an amazing time! We love you all very much!!!
