Daddy woke up to this fun group on his birthday this year, Sunday, March 17.
Later that day after church, we dined at Islands. We all had a great time. Funny story, they brought Jim's birthday dessert out when he was in the bathroom with Evan. They were in there awhile. Evie was patiently waiting for Daddy to come back as she couldn't wait to dig into this chocolaty goodness.
Here they are back and now everyone was ready to dig in.
Mommy and Elaine had a nice lunch too.
Here is our little St. Pat's girl all dressed up in green to help celebrate her Daddy and her First St. Patrick's Day.
Here is the whole family in our green wear for this special holiday, a.k.a. Daddy's Birthday.
Later that day we headed over to the park for some fun.
This was Elaine's first time in a swing. She wasn't too sure.
Evan was having a blast riding his bike. His favorite thing to do lately is to ride off road. This park has a lot of off road paths. He was loving it!
On Saturday, we had a small birthday gathering for Jim and some special cupcakes. Here we are singing to him.
This is just a super cute picture of Elaine. I put sticker earrings on her and Evie that weekend. Hee hee...I love dressing up my girls.
That night Jim and I got to have a lovely date night, which included dinner and dessert at Jim's favorite restaurant, The Cheesecake Factory and shopping at the Galleria. The kids were hanging out at our church's Ditch the Parent's event. It was the perfect evening. Elaine only lasted half the night at the church. Which was expected, but we had a dinner alone and got some shopping done. This was our goal so we were very happy!
All in all I think Jim had a wonderful birthday! We love you honey and so thankful to have you in our lives! Happy Birthday to the best husband and daddy in the world!!!
