Elaine has already been out and about and enjoying some of the exciting things the world has to offer. Such as her first time out to eat. We dined at Jack's Urban Eats after her first doctor's appointment on Wednesday, July 11. Since this experience, she has actually been to several local eateries since Daddy was able to take a week off and none of us felt like cooking. Going out has also been a great way for all of us to get some fresh air and some new scenery as we ease Elaine into the world.

She has been on her first shopping outing to Babies 'R' Us. This took place on Saturday, July 14.
She has attended church. We went on her one week birthday Sunday, July 15. We did attend the second service though to give us a little more time to get ready in the morning. While attending I couldn't help but think, this time last Sunday we were in labor. This is us in the church parking lot.

These are just a few of the many first's Elaine has gotten to experience. We are so happy we get to share life with this precious little girl. Here's to an exciting future! :)
