St. Patrick's Day Fun with Science

Here are the kids at the Discovery Museum in Sacramento on St. Patrick's Day, Saturday, March 17 (Daddy's Birthday- he was actually away at the Church's Men's Retreat, so we decided to try to celebrate the day and have some fun in his honor).

Here are the kids drawing some dinosaurs using tracing stencils on the table and crayons.

And this is a neat picture of Evie with the largest dinosaur model at the center.

We got to visit with our friend's the Rhodes.  Here are all the kids hanging out and having fun outside the museum.  From left to right, Andrew, Evan, Evie and Hannah.

Here they are right before all screaming as loud as they could.  Evie didn't really think that was too great!

In the museum all the kids got to see some cool things.  Here are Evan and Andrew being silly in front of a large tree stump.

We got to learn about animals.  Kristina pictured teaching them about squirrels.

The kiddos looking at some bugs.  They were pretty fascinated by these cockroaches.

There were also some cool skulls they could see and touch.

During our visit we got to learn about one of the animals up close and personal too.  This was a turtle named Bump.
