Our love day festivites...

Valentine's Day at the Knight household was not too eventful with a newborn in the house. Nevertheless, we made the best of it and celebrated with the kids. We actually decided to open presents on Saturday just because we were eager for Evan to open his Valentine so he could enjoy it all weekend long. He got some brand new Cars figurines and a new Cars rug with roads for him to drive on, etc. to add to his collection.

Evan was very excited to open his gifts. He loves doing this now and knows just what to do! :)

Here are Evan and I with one of his new Cars, Tex Dinoco. :) He was waiting patiently for me to get him out of the package.

Here is a picture of the rug and a close up with the figurines. We are missing "The King," he hid it around the house somewhere. Hopefully he turns up soon. :(

Daddy held Evie during the festivities; she rested! :)

Evan was having so much fun with opening gifts he helped open Daddy's too! :) However, was disappointed when there were no cars in the package.

Evan also got some additional Cars characters from Grandma and Grandpa Thompson on the Wednesday before Valentine's Day. He was in heaven!

On the official Valentine's Day the family ventured to The Fountains in Roseville. The weather was amazing and it is the perfect venue where Evan can run around and look at a variety of attractions. Here are Daddy, Evan, and Evie looking at the fountain.

Here is a close up of my men.

Here we are walking around. Evan gets such a charge being able to walk or should we say run free on his own.

Evie enjoyed the adventure too and slept most of the time. She just looks so cuddley and cozy.

Then when we got home, I attempted to get a picture of my little Valentine's together and happy, which seems like it might not be too hard, but let me tell you it is tricky. However, we accomplished the task. Evan thought it was fun to sit in Evie's car seat and well Evie was okay with Evan holding her for a little bit as Mommy and Daddy made funny noises and jumped around trying to get the kids to look at us and smile. Here are my two favorite pictures we captured! :)

Hope you all had a wonderful love day with your family and friends! Thanks for reading about ours. :)
