Evan got his face painted for the first time on Sunday, March 27, at the Babies and Bumps Event in Sacramento. Sacramento Parent Magazine puts this event on with other local sponsors. We attended last year for the first time. The event is Sacramento's premier baby event of the year and it is all free. It features fashion shows, entertainment, crafts, fun activities for the kids, and several vendors and lots of goodies. We went to the event with Natalie, Tyler and Jayne.
Here is Evan below getting his face painted by Sleeping Beauty. We asked him if he wanted a snake to be painted and he thought that sounded like a cool idea.

After Evan got his face painted we asked Tyler if he wanted to get his done too and he said no. However, he was happy to get his picture taken with the princesses. Where Evan and Evie weren't too excited about this as seen below. Evan didn't even want to get near them and you can see Evie's expression.

We also got to get hand prints of each of the kids. The Girl Scouts were helping out with this activity. The kids loved this. Here I am helping wipe off the ink after the prints.
Like last year this event was very fun. I can't wait to do it again next year. The cool thing about the location of the event this year was it was right next to Sam's Club. Natalie and I walked over there after all our fun and had the perfect most affordable lunch for us and the kids. Can't beat a $1.50 for a drink and a hot dog! :)
