Ten Months Old

Ten Months old and look at our precious little angel - can you say big girl?!?!  Evie official turned ten months on November 10.  She weighs 20 pounds according to our home scale and is as cute as can be.  Her accomplishments to date are as follows:

*ALMOST WALKING- Evie is moving out these days and pushing cars, bikes, our activity center chair...you name it she enjoys walking with assistance and in no time we think will be walking without it just like Evan.  Here she is walking around in the backyard.
Now on to another vehicle.  She enjoys variety. :)

Here she is inside the house pushing her chair on the activity center.
Evie here doing some one handed pushing.  Isn't she cool?!?!
Yet again, photographed pushing another vehicle, her own stroller.
*STANDING- Evie can be seen standing all by herself all throughout the day.  She is getting very good at this.

*CLAPPING- She continues to enjoy clapping and really loves to cheer people on when others are applauding or smiling away.  I just love it and can't help picturing her as a future cheerleader! :)

*TEETH- She is getting more teeth (the top ones are coming in - 3 to be exact).  Here is a picture from October 21.  She is happy I am sure to be getting these teeth, but not a huge fan of the experience.  Teething has not been a fun time in our house.  It consists of lots of fussing and needing Mommy, also lots of waking up through the night too.
Here is just another great picture from that day - such a sweetheart!
*STAIRS- Evie can climb our flight of stairs in our house and tries to do it at every chance she gets.  She loves to have you watch her do it and gets so proud when she gets to the top.  Thank goodness for baby gates though. :)

*CHASE- Evie's new thing is playing chase.  She especially loves to play when you are trying to change her diaper and put her close on after bath time.  She quickly tries to escape and then looks back to see if you are going to come get her.  It is adorable, especially to see her little naked tushy crawling away. :)

*FOOD- Evie is eating gold fish crackers now and Cheerios....big time for this girl.  During her Sunday School class they actually let her go to the big kid's class (this is Evan's class) and she gets to snack with all the children during snack time.  They told us she just loves it and thinks she is big time now! :)
She still enjoys putting a variety of things in her mouth as most babies do.  Here she is eating Lightening McQueen...okay so not everything going into her mouth is food...brother's toy are mighty tasty too!

*DRINKS- She is getting good at using her water cup too.  Look at this adorable picture.
Here is a cute picture of Evan eating a churro that same night too just for fun. :)  He loves to say "Cheers" with just about anything lately.  Here he was toasting away with the churro.
*HELPING AROUND THE HOUSE- Evie recently has discovered that she enjoys helping me with the dishes.
*PLAY TIME WITH BROTHER- Evie loves to do everything Evan does and of course loves all of his toys and snacks too.   Lucky for us Evan loves playing with his sister.  We are thrilled that they enjoy each other "most of the time.:  Sometimes they do express their frustration with each other, but for the most part love is usually in the air. :)
*HAIR ACCESORIES- I don't remember if I mentioned this in her previous month old postings (she probably started this back in August), but Evie has discovered her hair clips, bows, hats you name it and does pull them out and/or off. Therefore, you may have noticed they are not in every picture anymore like they used to.  However, they still go on pretty much every day and I am trying to encourage her not to pull them out or take such items off.  Us girls need to accessorize it is important she learns this at an early age. :)

I have more pictures of our little love muffin to share, but they are going to be posted on their own blog entries.  Be sure to check them out.

All in all...this little girl is such a gift from God that we are thankful for each and every day.  We can't imagine a day without her.

Thank you for being such a blessing Evie!  We love you and Happy 10 Months!
