Our little girl turned seven months old on Monday, August 9. Seriously, this is going too fast! Our baby is growing up in turbo speed.
We fall in love more and more every day with this little bundle of ADORABLE, she her shirt below. I mean, you really can't argue with the shirt, she simply is adorable! :)
Here are the latest milestones at seven months:
-She is sitting up pretty sturdy. There are still a few topples over, but not bad at all. Here she is below with her very first barrette. She just looks so mature. Don't you think?
-She continues to teeth...everything goes in the mouth. However, she gets bored with her toys. This girl needs variety! :) Don't all girls though, really?!?! :)
-She enjoying playing with Evan's birthday balloons. They were a very fun NEW source of entertainment.
-Evie has said her first word...any guesses....Dada! Jim of course is loving it. She says it so sweet too. We will have to post her in action soon.
-Evie has been a great sleeper at seven months. She has two to three regular naps, one in the early morning (unless she decides to sleep in), late morning, and afternoon (this one she shares with her brother). Here she is passed out with Daddy for a little cat nap. These happen on occasion too, mostly in the car or on stroller rides. Once the stroller stops and/or she is placed on the floor in her car seat, usually her eyes open instantly. It is pretty funny and predictable at this point. She really doesn't want to miss anything, especially in regards to watching Evan. She must see what he is doing. However, truthfully I think most of the time he wakes her up because he is so loud. :)

-She continues to nurse and is enjoying her rice cereal now. I have been terribly inconsistent, poor second child. :) However, we are getting there and we will slowly be introducing other foods soon too; additional posts on this when it happens.
-She is loving her toes and feet. The cutest thing is when she sucks on them. Oh the flexibility at this age. :)
-Playing with anything in the air is really fun too! But, this activity is not as exciting anymore. This toy has actually been put away for now, as she is wanting to explore so much. :)
-Evie is really almost about to crawl. She has just recently been resting on her side and can go from laying down to siting up. She also will go from a sitting position to bending over and trying to reach for things. She is so close!
-She enjoys standing too and is looking forward to walking soon I am sure of it.
-One thing that she does is whine. You can tell she is frustrated and wants to do so much more. She will sit there and whine for you to help her, pick her up, pay attention to her, you name it. Jim is hoping this isn't a character trait. :) I look at it as we are hopefully getting a lot of it out of the way now, right? :)
Here is Evie with one of her girlfriends, Sienna. Don't they look so cute together.
We love you darling! Truly you light up our lives. Thank you God for Evie! Happy 7 Months Baby!
