First time in a Pool and Spa

Evan had his first adventure in a swimming pool and hot tub on Friday night, May 15. Our good friends the Wisners invited us to a pool party/BBQ at their parent's house with some other good friends of ours, the Burrills and Christy Woodward. It was such a great event and fantastic to get to see everyone again. Evan was initially very eager at the start to get in the water, but once he entered the pool (which was a little chilly) he was not happy at all. Here is a picture to exhibit this behavior. :) Poor guy!

Then he entered the pool!

Daddy then ventured over to the hot tub, which Evan wasn't totally sure about at first, but then warmed up to the idea. The water in there was a lot like bath water and had fun toys. He got so relaxed he even had his bottle while soaking, so much fun! Thanks Wisners for a super great night; can't wait to do it again in the future!
