Evan turned seven months old on Saturday. It is hard to believe; he is growing up so fast. Our big "little" boy has learned to do so much lately.
His newest accomplishments are as follows:
-CRAWLING, CRAWLING AND MORE CRAWLING...our little guy has perfected crawling and now can't get enough of it. He is on the move day and night. Jim and I have to keep a very close eye on him all the time these days. However, it is so much fun seeing Evan explore and decide where he wants to go and what he wants to play with or touch. :) Below are some videos of Evan in action and a few pictures.

Evan especially loves to crawl under his exersaucer or threw other obstacles.

-Pulling himself up has also become another one of his favorite pastimes. He greatly enjoys climbing all over Mommy and Daddy! Pulling himself up on things has proven to be a dangerous new talent and we are very much in the season of falling and bumping our head. We have a dare devil on our hands.

-Evan can finally sit up! It is so fantastic to see him sitting all by himself. He just looks so adorable and like such a big boy. The best is when he wakes up at night and we go in there to get him we find him just sitting on his bum waiting for us. So precious! However, I must say getting a picture of him sitting is a challenge. Every time I get the camera out he starts crawling to get me. :) Below are some pics that I was able to snag.

-Evan still enjoys his exersaucers. However, they do not hold his attention for great amounts of time these days since he is aware of how many other cool things he can now do. Nonetheless, Mommy and Daddy love them because we know he is safe when in them and can't get into too much! This is a picture of Evan in a new activity center. Grandma and Grandpa Thompson got him from Children's Orchard. We love this store. There link is below on our blog. He gets to play with this one at their house.

-Sleep continues to be going good for he most part. He wakes up once in awhile, but definitely has been sleeping through the night more and more. Yippee! Naps are also still going well, unless we get off schedule or something. For the most part he has a morning nap around 10:30 a.m. and an afternoon nap around 2:00 p.m. or 3:00 p.m. and then a final nap around dinner time give or take a little bit (this one sometimes doesn't happen or is very short, but the two before are pretty guaranteed and can last anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour and a half).
-Eating is a lot of fun for Evan. So far he has dined on peas, sweet potatoes, carrots, butternut squash, tender young green beans, pears, bananas, apples, and peaches. He usually dines on these yummy baby food items with either rice cereal or oatmeal. For the most part we usually will have a vegetable and fruit with the either the rice cereal or oatmeal at lunch and dinner time. He also has been attempting to drink water out of a sippy cup. He mostly likes to just chew on the part where the water comes out, but he does get some water down. He continues to have breast milk and formula in the morning, at night, and after his meals.

-Evan has recently been able to experience the joys of sitting in a high chair and a booster seat at a restaurant.
This is us at the Elephant Bar.

Here is for the first time in a high chair at The Counter, a restaurant at the Fountains Shopping Center in Roseville. He looks like such a big boy.

On his official Seven Month birthday we went out to eat with Grandma and Grandpa Thompson at Islands and he sat in a highchair there too.

-Things Evan currently loves, his shape sorters, his Sit and Stand Ball Toy (pictured below), Tupperware boat, balls, his stuffed aquarium, his remote control, still loves those rings, he enjoys chewing on his pacifiers, and his car seat bug toys. There are also those things that he loves to play with however, are not allowed due to safety and/or sanitation these items are cords, shoe laces, trash cans, bags, and paper.

Here are some additional adorable photos of our little man for your enjoyment:
Evan felt grass for the first time on Friday, March 6, while we were playing at the park with our friends Jennifer and Brittney. He thought it was so cool and loved that he could pull it out. It was really hard to get a picture of him looking at me because he was so enthralled by this amazing creation- grass! :)

Evan helping his Dad celebrate St. Pat's Day early with his fancy new P.J.s.

Bath time fun!

***So here is Evan at Seven Months. He continues to be the star of the show and such a love. We count are blessings everyday that we were given such a wonderful son. Thank you Lord!!!
