*He can roll over! He loves doing this and constantly arches his back when he is in his car seat, swing, Bumbo, etc. because he wants to be out and moving in someway. He is such a mover and shaker.
*He also likes to look at everything around him and wants to face out when being held or in the Ergo.
*He laughs and talks quite a bit. He really enjoys having fun. He is such a cutie pie.
*He plays with his toys, especially his rings, and chews, pulls and grasps them with no problem. It is so fun to see him interacting with his play things at this age.
*He smiles all the time and is such a charmer. We just love him so much!
*He also loves playing hide and seek as well as near and far with Mommy and Daddy. He gets such a kick out of this and just laughs and laughs.
*He is eating his feet now and hands/fingers. However, he still enjoys eating Dad's fingers too! :) He can be found putting his whole hand in, thumb, a variety of fingers. Anything seems to go at this period of time. So delicious!
*He loves just looking at his hands and can be found doing this for periods of time.
*He stands all the time when assisted and hardly ever wants to bend his legs to sit.
*He is at the stage where he lets you know when he wants to be picked up and has a distinct cry.
*Evan drools and spits up a lot, making laundry a regular task at our household. (We are right there with you Carolyn.) :)
*Sleeping is still a mystery. We have a better system for regular naps, but sleeping through the night really varies. It has happened, but definitely not regularly. Currently he gets up at about 3:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. give or take a little. Then he doesn't want to get back in his own bed after the 5:00 a.m. time, he falls asleep while rocking and eating, but once back in the crib wakes up instantly. So fun!
*However, he does sing himself to sleep when being rocked or cuddled...so adorable.
*He still is a greater eater. He is feasting on both breast milk and formula these days. At the doctor's appointment he said we could begin feeding him rice cereal. We hope this might help him sleep better at night. (Quick report, we tried the rice cereal and he seems to really dislike the stuff. We will keep trying, but wow, I don't think you could get a better reaction for not liking something he cries and everything. Poor guy! :) )
Below are some pictures of our treasure. We couldn't be prouder of our little bundle of joy. Thanks for sharing in his development. Hopefully we will post some video of his new tricks soon. Stay tuned.
Here is Evan smiling with his pacifier...so cute!
Here he is again.

Aw, he's adorable! Our little guys are so similar--same size, same smiles, same drool. :) I can't wait until they can meet!
