Big Bear - WOFOFF!

Jim and I had a wonderful weekend away in Big Bear during the weekend of June 19-22. Each year we get together with our fantastic friends from Cal Poly SLO and do a camping/cabin vacation weekend. This year since we had two pregnant woman and a possible baby coming. We got the privilege to stay at our good friend Amy's parents cabin. It was amazing. Below is a picture of the gang that was able to attend during the weekend. From left to right you have Jim, me, Jeremy, Ashley, Andy, Jessica, Ben, Matt and Amy.

Here is a picture of the actual cabin below. It was so cool and very log cabin authentic!

During the weekend we were treated to many delicious meals by chef Amy! Here she is below in action. Thank you Amy!

We also got to experience quite a variety of fun activities from Ping Pong...

To boating.Jim and some of the other guys also got to water ski. In Jim's case attempt it, we have both been away from this sport for some time so it was little challenging to get up. However, he still had an amazing time. :)

He especially enjoyed the Wave Runner as seen below.

Another fun activity was the boys all got to experience the Alpine Slides. These were pretty neat and if Jessica and I weren't pregnant we probably would have been all over the experience. However, as you can they were making no exceptions for pregnant women.

The activity took place as seen below. They would travel up the hill in a ski lift type of contraption. Ben and Jim are pictured during the journey.

Then they would ride down the slide in the yellow cart as displayed on the ski lift above; Jim is flying down in this picture and Ben just finished. The guys had a really great time. Matt and Andrew even had some wounds to prove how much fun they had as they were really able to speed down the course. :) The girls had fun too and took lots of pictures of the experience.

Another exciting activity was pool. There were definitely some pros in the group.

Lastly, we all were able to partake in an enjoyable, relaxing puzzle for the weekend. It was such a neat time and really rewarding to complete the project.

Overall, it was another phenomenal "Weekend of Full on Fellowship and Fun!" Thanks again Amy and Matt for all of the planning that went into the weekend and a special thank you to your parents for letting us stay in the cabin. Also, lots of love to the gang and we miss you all already. Look forward to next year's summer adventure.
