Countdown to our newest little girl's arrival!

Our beautiful new little girl could literally be here any time.  However, based on the other kids we think she will probably be here close to her due date give or take a little around July 8.  We are very excited and can't wait to meet her and welcome her to our family!

Here are some more pictures of the baby bump as our little girl continues to grow.

Here I am with my precious little Evie too on June 2 at 34 weeks.
Then again at 36 weeks on June 10.
On June 17 at 37 weeks I am pictured with both kiddos.  They can't wait to meet their baby sister.  Evie keeps saying, "Baby come out!"  I think she truly does want her to come out to meet her and to also have some more room on Mommy's lap. :)
Last but not least a picture of me on June 24 at 38 Weeks.
We also took advantage of registering for a few items for our newest little one.  You may say why, don't you have everything? :)  Well two reasons, you always get a free gift when you register with lots of cool coupons and samples and after  you have the baby they send you a coupon to purchase all the leftover items on your registry at a discounted rate.  You really can't lose.  Plus the kids had a blast trying out the scanner.  Here they both are at Target on June 27.
Then just the girls went to Babies 'R' Us on Sunday, June 24.  We had a real fun time!  Evie loved picking things out for her sister.  She especially wanted to get her some pacifiers (even though neither Evan nor Evie used one).  She thought baby sis should have one. I think she secretly wanted to test it out. :)
Finally, we recived some recent baby love from my parents and Grandma, who came over Thursday, June 14 in the afternoon and surprised us with some gifts for the soon to be little girl.  It was awesome!  We were all very excited and felt the love.  Evie and Evan had fun helping open the gifts.  Especially, Evie since most of the items were obviously geared for a girl (clothes, baby doll, etc.).  However, Evan did get a special shooter toy (such a lucky boy!).  Thank you so much family we love you from the bottom of our hearts and are so blessed to have you always take care of us and be in our lives.  Here are some pictures of the fun. :)

Swim Lessons

We just completed swim lessons for this year.  We were trying to get them in before the new baby comes. :)  Both kids got to participate this summer.  It was awesome.  We did a similar thing that we did last year.  We joined up with friends and had eight days of 20 minute private lessons.  We used another teacher this year, because last year's teacher had her first baby.  This teacher was actually the sister-in-law of one of our good friends, Pam, who also ended up doing the lessons with us.

Miss. Karson was the kid's teacher and Evan and Evie just loved her.  This year they also got to partner with their buds for their lessons, which they also thought was super cool!  Evan got to do lessons with Cameron and Evie got to do lessons with Ariel.  They had the best time.

Here they are at graduation with their swim buddies and Miss. Karson.  They got these awesome certificates and a Push-Up Pop, which the kids both gave away too friends (they are not huge fans of sherbet ice cream). :)

The boys...
 The girls...
Here are some other memorable moments throughout the two weeks, June 11-15 and 18-20.  Warning there are lots of pictures; it was hard to narrow them down. :)

Day 1
Learning one of the proper swim strokes and its name, Scoopers (just like scooping ice cream- they loved this.)  We had to practice keeping Evan's fingers together that night, but he eventually got it. :)
Putting his face in the water just slightly on Day 1.  He was very brave no tears or anything.
Look how proud he is too!  Love that smile.
Evie on the other hand was not totally sure about the lessons on Day 1.  No tears, but a little apprehension.
Here she is learning the Monkey Crawl.  This became one of her favorite things to do during lessons.
Day 2
Evan continues to improve putting his face in even more during this lesson.
Twins...look at those lobster swim trunks!  So cute!
Evie also was starting to really enjoy herself.  Here she is with her partner Ariel and Miss. Karson practicing how to blow real bubbles in simulation of doing bubbles in the water.
Look how happy she is now after her lesson!
Day 3
Having a little snack while brother is having his lesson.
Just look at Evan go.
The girls in their ruffles.
After swim lesson lunch pow wow!  Our friend's who hosted the lessons, Scott and Sarah, had this amazing upper deck that all the kids enjoyed hanging out and having lunch after lessons.
Day 4
Just look at that thumbs up; he is having so much fun learning to swim.
Evie was doing great too and getting more used to the water every time.  She especially loved all the special names for the swim moves and would come home and talk about them at night with Daddy.
Here she is waiting on the wall while her partner Ariel goes out for her turn with Miss. Karson.
Getting rings- this was another favorite of both of the girls.
Happy girl!
Day 5
The boys learning water safety and how to help someone get out of the water.
Day 6
Evan decided to try wearing goggles on this day.  His buddy Cameron was doing it and it really helped him to be confident in the water.  On Day 6 we borrowed some goggles that were the Schofields, so Evan didn't really get the concept that you could open your eyes and see under water as a little water would sneak in the goggles when we put his face in.  He just really wanted to wear them because his friend had them.  However, he was still progressing.  Here he is doing the Superman back to the step.
Twinsys again...both boys had the same lunch box.
The girls with Ms. Karson.
Look how confident Evie is getting.  I was so proud of her.
Day 7
New goggles I went that morning and got some for both Evan and Evie. :)  Evan was feeling very confident now and enjoyed putting his face in the water.  He got the concept that he could see what was under there when he opened his eyes at the end of this lesson and really on Day 8.
Evie got some too, but hers ended up being more of a fashion accessory.  Like her new belt?
Day 8
Evie with her favorite sister duo, Ariel and Macy.  She sure does love these girls.
Look at Evan now!  What a stud.  How brave and confident he became with the swim lessons.
Evie did remarkable too.  Here she is jumping in the water with Miss. Karson and going under.
Look at the happy girl!
We are very proud of our kids and their progress in swim.  The most important thing is they had so much fun while learning too.  Thank you Miss. Karson!  You were awesome!  Lots of love!

Creekside Church Family Camp

Our family headed up for the day to Rollins Lake and Greenhorn Campground near Colfax on Saturday, June 22 to be with our Church Family at Family Camp.  We got there about 2:30 p.m. to enjoy some beach time.  Since we are just about two weeks out to see Baby Girl, we figured camping this year would not be ideal and this was probably our best option.

We first headed over to Rollins Lake for mainly some sand fun.  The weather was unseasonably cool this weekend.  Some of the kids did brave the lake, but then quickly wanted to hang out in towels to dry off.
Evan enjoyed building this battle station with his friends.  Here he is pictured with Wesley.
Evie and I posing with the ladies (Bethany, Sarah, and Ryel on Pam's lap passed out asleep).  Evie had fun playing in the sand too, but did get a bit chilly and needed to cuddle in a towel.
Then after our church did a Baptism Service down at the lake about 4:30 p.m.  Then we headed back to the campground.  Evan couldn't wait to get over there and ride his bike.  The campground has the perfect area for kids to just ride and be free.  It is great for parents too as there is only one way in.  Evan got to show off his no training wheel bike skills too.  We were very proud and all his friends were super impressed!  Way to go little buddy! :)
Evie was able to get in on the bike fun too.  Here legs are almost reaching the pedals these days.  However, she mainly just scoots around using her feet and is okay with that.
After the bike fun, our Church family all enjoyed a delicious BBQ Chicken and potluck dinner at about 5:30 p.m.  Followed by a Saturday night church service at 6:30 p.m.
The evening concluded with some silly skits (which we just got to watch and enjoy this year) and some fun with glow sticks (thanks to our good buds the Urieff Family).
Evan and Ari having a glow stick sword battle.  So cool!
Also, we can't forget the special s'mores treats.  However, this year our family didn't actually end up roasting any marshmallows on the fire we just ate the ingredients separately.  We didn't have any skewers and probably could have borrowed them, but no one seemed to really notice the difference and the mess was much easier to clean up. :)

Oh yes, and we can't forget to mention Evan feel off the stage doing some crazy dance move after the skits were over and then also feel earlier that evening on his bike at one point and his handle bar totally banged up his check.  Good times, but he was tough and back in action pretty quickly after these incidents.
