Baby Shower for Baby Girl Knight

On Saturday, November 14, my amazing girlfriend, Natalie Wisner, threw me and Baby Girl Knight the most wonderful baby shower, along with help from her fabulous mom, Valerie too. :) It was such a great party and a beautiful celebration of our baby daughter. The shower had pink and green everywhere...it was absolutely the best! Thank you so much Natalie and Valerie! We love you guys. Here are some pictures from the big day.

The decorations, food, and cake display were top notch. Every detail was thought out with perfection! :)

Everyone enjoyed the delicious cuisine. Featured below are Pam in the background :), me, Traci, Lauren, Carly and Monica.

Pictured below dining are GrandDeb, Bethany and baby Gavin, Anna, and Valerie.

My fellow MOP's moms, Pam, Kristen, Carly, Haven, and Monica.

More of the fabulous MOP's moms in attendance, Traci, Diana, and Lauren.

Playing games...lead by the "hostess with the mostess" Natalie. :)

Here is my Sister-in-law, also our photographer for the day (Thank you!!!), Debra, trying to guess which celebrity parent goes with the baby name.

More pondering...by Traci, Shana, and her daughter Amber.

...as well as from Christina, Lois, my Grandma, my Mom, and Jennifer. We also played a Baby Word Scramble Game. Winners of the Celebrity Baby Game were Carly and Kristen. The Baby Word Scramble Game was won by Jennifer and Shana. Way to go ladies! :)

Then it was present time. Below are just a few of the pictures. Everyone was so generous! Just a note that the buggy was only decor, it belongs to Natalie. :)

Carly and me with her homemade burp cloths and some adorable shoes.

My MOP's mentor mom, Lois, and one of the cutest diaper covers ever wrapped in the most ingenious way with confetti. Too fun!

Bethany and her beautiful handcrafted taggies blanket and the sweetest little black dress up shoes.

My sweet friend Anna and me with her beautifully wrapped present.

Me with Pops and GrandDeb and several pretty outfits for Baby Girl as well as some accessories.

Lastly, here are a few pictures of some of the party guests...me with my Grandma, Mom, and Sister-in-law, Debra.

My belly buddy, Pam, she is due on January 16.

A cute shot of Shana and her daughter, Amber.

As well as Bethany and her little guy, Gavin, passed out from the event.

My long time girlfriends, Jennifer and Kimberly after the party. We had a great chance to catch up and I got to see Kim's new baby for the first time!

Thank you all so very, very much from our whole family! We are blessed beyond words and our little girl is going to look and feel like a million bucks with all of these fantastic gifts. We are extremely grateful. Love you all and can't wait for you to meet Baby Girl Knight real soon!

If you would like to check out more pics of the party feel free to view our Picasa Web Album and click here.

Here is Evan after the party...he didn't know what to think of everything...he did love the balloons though. :)

Bye, bye for now. :)

Would you want these guys to come rescue you?!?! :)

Silly boys...pictured above are Evan and Tyler in little firefighter hats. A party gift from Tyler's 2nd Birthday party on Thursday, November 5.

Here are Natalie and Tyler at the celebration! Natalie made a delicious brownie cake...so yummy as well as a scrumptious birthday lunch for both adults and kids! She is very talented! :)

Evan had the best time at the party, as did Mommy, here are the boys playing at Maidu Park. They have so much fun together these days. Tyler even can say Evan's name. He calls him "Evee" and it is just adorable. They love to chase one other and make sounds at each other always including lots of giggling.

Happy Birthday Tyler...we love you! :) Thanks for inviting us to your party.

Less than two months left!

Today I am 32 weeks, officially eight months! I was trying to feature the eight with my pose above. Corny, I know! :) Ultimately, feeling good and can't believe Baby Girl Knight will be here soon. She is moving like crazy. I think she moves more than Evan. We love her so much already and can't wait to meet her real soon. Evan is excited too and we are working on him to try to say I'm a Big Brother, okay at least Big Brother! :) I think he will be able to do it by the time she is here.
Here I am with Baby Girl Knight at 30 weeks on November 1.

Of course must feature a picture of the boys too!

Uncle Rhett's Birthday

On Sunday, October 18, we all got the opportunity to help Uncle Rhett celebrate his birthday. It was a nice night of good food at the Elephant Bar and delicious dessert back at my parent's house. Evan had a great time helping Uncle Rhett open his presents. Here are some pictures from the festivities some are taken by Aunt Debra (the good ones are from her). :)

Evan with his CHEESE smile...so funny!

The two sides of Evan... Mr. Happy

and Mr. You Lookin' at Me...silly boy!

Happy Birthday Rhett! Hope it was grand; glad we could be there to celebrate. We love you!

Happy Halloween!

This year's Halloween started out with some festive bat pajamas.

Then during the day we all wore our orange, green and/or black to get in the mood for the evening fun! :)

We also visited Grandma Shirley and Grandma and Grandpa Thompson to deliver some yummy pumpkin, apple muffins and a little Halloween Cheer from the Evster! :)

Then after a good nap and a dinner at Chick-Fil-A we got ready for Evan's first time Trick-Or-Treating!

Can you say Bow Wow - here is our little Doggy!!!

Mommy and Daddy were Dog Catchers...Notice anything different between these two pictures?

Jim was hoping to sport his cool mustache all night, but they just wouldn't stay on. Oh well, we got some good pictures. :)

What do you think should he grow one???

Okay, so on to the real star of Halloween, Evan and more pictures of our adorable Doggy! :)

Here he is in action Trick-Or-Treating...

He preferred his hood off; you will see this is very true in some of the pictures below. :)

Proud parents with our little guy loving the experience probably more than he did.

One of our neighbors actually took this photo for us at their door. Evan is already enjoying some of his candy. :)

We had so much fun and really had an amazing Halloween. Evan walked down both sides of the street and did fabulous going up to each door. He did get a little shy and didn't say Trick-Or-Treat like we had practiced at home, but he was very happy to walk around with all the other kids, visit all the people, see everyone dressed up, and he especially enjoyed everyone giving him something. Our neighborhood is so nice and it was also a great outreach opportunity to meet some of the neighbors we hadn't said hi to yet since moving in one year ago to date on Halloween. :)

Once we got back home Evan helped out his parents pass out the candy to other kids. He thought this was pretty cool! :)

Here is Evan checking out his loot between Trick-Or-Treaters! :) Happy Boy!

He also enjoyed sampling his candy too! Mr. Blue Lips...yum yum!

Now for just some fun pics of our little dude! :)

Such a cutie! Hope you all had a wonderful Halloween with your loved ones! :)
