Surprise!

We are pregnant - Due January 10, 2010! We are super excited and look forward to our growing family. Don't you just love the look on Evan's face; this is us on April 30 the day after we took the test. We should say it actually wasn't a true surprise, we did plan it! :) In case you were wondering.

We told our families the big news on Mother's Day, Evan wore his special shirt pictured below. No one got it at first, they thought he was just promoting the Big Brother organization. So funny! Finally, during our Mother's Day brunch, Jim and I asked the question, did you happen to notice Evan's shirt and my Dad was the first one to figure it out. Everyone was very excited! We also told Jim's family that day too, seeing his Dad and his wife Deb later on that day for dinner and we called his Mom and Sister in the evening!

Evan is going to be the best Big Brother!!!

Below is a picture of Baby Knight #2 on Wednesday, July 1st at 12 weeks. He/she was looking wonderful and moving all around, kicking its legs and waving its arms. It is such a miracle to see the growth at this stage. God is so good!

This is the first glimpse we got to see of our second babe Wednesday, May 20. This was the baby at only 6 weeks old; you could see a heartbeat flicker, but not much else (our little bean is located between the two plus signs on the left). We thought we were actually 8 weeks along, but discovered we ovulated late according to the doctor. It is hard to believe the difference with the picture above. Amazing!!!

We will continue to keep you posted on the progress and are planning to find out the gender on August 20th if baby cooperates - so stay tuned and have a wonderful and safe 4th of July!!!
