Who needs real toys?

Evan and Jim were having so much fun with a box that Pops brought over somewhat recently.

Here is Evan trying to push Jim in the box.

Now here is Jim preparing to push Evan.
Look how far Evan went.  He was loving it!

Now here is just a cute pic of Pops and Evie together too.

A new type of hat

Evan decided it would be fun if he and Evie put some hats on.  He decided bowls would probably be the best option.

He tried to convince Evie of this too.
She wasn't too sure if she agreed. :)
Fun times at the Knight house on December 2.

Cuteness!

I actually manged to get a picture of both kids hugging, smiling and looking at the camera at the same time.  I was one proud and happy Mommy.  Love these two babes so much! :)

49th Annual Sylvia Besana Holiday Parade

We went to the Roseville Christmas Parade, a.k.a. 49th Annual Sylvia Besana Holiday Parade, again this year with good friends the Moons on Saturday, November 20.  The Moon's and Jennifer's mom are pictured below.
It was freezing, but we all had a good time.  The parade was super short this year and only lasted for probably less than 30 minutes, but it was still a fun time.  They changed the time that it started to 3:00 p.m and in the morning on Saturday when the parade used to occur at about 10:00 a.m. it was pouring rain.  So I think a lot of people didn't even think the parade was going to happen and those that were in the parade might have canceled.  Nonetheless, we had a great time as always with our good buds.  Here are some of the fun shots Jenn and I got at the event.  Enjoy!

Here is one of Evan and Evie all bundled up.
Here are the kids watching a marching band.

Here is Brittney Moon waving at Santa.
And that was pretty much the end of the parade.  Or at least it seemed that way.  We did get some candy from the parade participants along the way.  Oh yes, and someone from the woman's roller derby team in Roseville skated up to Evan in a skeleton mask and scared him and he immediately started crying.  She attempted to make him feel better by giving him some candy quickly, but that really didn't work.  We don't think she had any kids.  :)

Here are just some cute pictures of the kids having fun.

Here is bundled up Evie in Evan's hat and mittens.  The mittens worked like a charm because she couldn't get the hat off with them on. :)
Here she is saying thumbs up! :)  Here expression doesn't show it on her face but her hand does.

And lastlly one final picture of the family.

We always have so much fun when hanging out with the Moons, especially at Roseville parades.  The only thing missing was Jeremy Moon who had to work that day.  Let's do this again next year and Jeremy hope you can come then too! :)

Cowboy Times

The kids and I had a great time at Tyler Wisner's 3rd Birthday party on Wednesday, November 3.

The theme was cowboys!  The kids were encouraged to dress up.  Natalie and her mom gave all the kids cowboy hats, bandannas, and sheriff badges.  They also got to make little vests with stickers.  It was adorable.  Here are some of the fun pictures we got that day.

Here is our little cowgirl Evie :)
and here is our cowboy Evan...he is actually saying Yee-Haw in this picture and took his hat off when he said it and everything.  He learned that from Woody in Toy Story.  Loving it!
We had so much fun.  Here are Tyler and Evan on a hay ride.  Natalie's mom pulled the kids around.  They had a great time.

Evie got to sit in the hay ride for a little bit too.  Everyone thought it was fun until she started taking Tyler's hat off. :)
Look at these adorable cowboys!

Here they are in their vests.  Pictured next to Evan is our friend Andrew.
The kids got to also look for toys amidst hay that was in a wheelbarrow.  Here they are searching.  Evan really got into it at the end.  In this picture is Andrew's sister Hannah, who was at the party too.
Evan found something. :)

They kids also tried to lasso a horse with hulu hoops.  This was fun for everyone too.

One of the big hits of the party was Tyler's new play house at his Grandparent's house.  Inside was a brand new Thomas Train Track.  The kids were so excited and pretty much wanted to play with this for the rest of the party.  Or at least this was Evan's wish! :)

Another fun thing the kids did was go on a tire swing.  This was Evan's first time.  He thought it was cool.
Evie got to try it out too! She also was impressed, but Mommy had to help her hold on, which was a little tricky.  So her ride was pretty short. :)
Two final pictures that I just love.  Look at the kid's expressions.  So funny!  Tell's a story don't you think? :)

This picture cracks me up too.  I don't know what Evan was doing, but he looks like he is saying oh my look at those candles or something like this.  Kid's are the best...don't you think?

Thanks so much to Natalie, Valerie and Tyler for letting us join in on the birthday fun!  We love you guys!  Yee-Haw! :)

Whoa Horsey!

On November 14, the kids and Jim and I were all having fun with our horse, given to us by the Walton Family.  As you can see the kids love it.  Evan especially enjoys wearing his cowboy hat while riding the horse.  He encourages Evie to wear it too as seen in the pictures below. :)  I sure do love my family and the fun times we have together!  Hope you enjoy these photos as much as I do.
